The Great New York State Fair
Individuals with sensory disabilities (Autism, Dementia, Traumatic Brain Injury) will now be able to enjoy events at the New York State Fair in Syracuse thanks to a partnership with Life Is Washable, Inc.
Loud noises and bright lights can make it difficult or confusing for an individual with developmental disabilities or dementia to enjoy an event. Friendly access kits are designed to support individuals of all ages, with a variety of sensory needs, and their families to enjoy all there is to see and do at this year’s fair!
The kits can be found in the Welcome Center right by gate 1!
